We will billet the GSE team from South Korea from the 21st to the 25th of February. While here, the team will have the opportunity to discover the local area, experience Australian customs and learn more about specific vocations such as education. They will also be hosted by other Rotary clubs in the area, promoting global awareness and understanding.

Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Bring a rug, your family and the cuddliest teddies you can find! We are organising a fun day out for Sunday the 14th of March at the Botanical Gardens from 10am to 3pm. Proceeds from the day will go to Ronald McDonald House Wagga Wagga, incorporating 93.1 StarFM Kid’s Kottage. Entry is free and there will be a jumping castle, show bags and lucky dips, face painting, a teddy bear hospital and many traditional games. So come and grab a sausage sandwich, kick-back and enjoy some valuable time with your family.

Science & Engineering Challenge

In an effort to encourage more students to enter the Science and Engineering fields, Rotary clubs in Wagga are liaising to bring the Challenge to our region. Students from eight local high schools will compete in fun hands-on activities designed to encourage students to think outside the square. The Challenge will take place on the 17th of March with the winning school on the day progressing to the next level of this national (+Singapore) competition. For more information, click here. If you are interested in helping sponsor the event please contact our Club secretary.
