BBQ at Bunnings
We will hold a sausage sizzle at Bunnings in January 2010 to raise funds for the Shelterbox project.
RAWCS Trip to Vanuatu
A team of Rotary volunteers, including members of our Club, will travel to Tanna Island in Vanuata from the 2nd to the 17th of April in 2010 to help with a variety of building and educational projects. Their work will build on prior projects completed by other Rotary groups. The cost to members is approximately $2500 and is tax deductible. (RAWCS = Rotary Australia World Community Service) For important travel information, check out the sites below:
Operation Life Blood: Australian Red Cross Blood Service
We organise a group visit every three months for club members to regularly donate blood. For more information about donating go to: www.donateblood.com.au For the past two years, our club has won the Vampire Shield for the most blood donations by a Rotary Club in the Wagga area. We’re putting the challenge out there to other clubs!
